“n” is a musical project by Jorge Drexler, specifically written and produced to be transformed and edited by iPad and iPhone users. This app provides a revolutionary approach to songwriting, in which for the first time, listeners become users, and songs become software.
“n” contains two original songs: n1 and n2. In the future the app via updates will contain one more song: n3
Each song is a unique interactive musical experience.
Jorge Drexler along with 9 world class singers, a Stradivarius, a full symphonic orchestra, a male and a female chorus have participated in this state-of-the-arts app.
Users may export and share audio files with their own edits of each song.

“n1: Room 316” a song that explores combinatory poetry, in which users may play with the lyrics by freely arranging the lines. This song is available in both English and Spanish.
The amount of possible combinations for the lyrics is almost infinite.

“n2: Driftwood” is a song about drifting in life, and therefore, listeners must drift to experience the song. By pressing play in different locations, users can find and unlock all the different instruments that play along with the song.
This song was recorded with the Basque Country’s Symphonic Orchestra (Euskadiko Orkestra Sinfonikoa) and contains all the different instruments that make a full orchestra and that can be played separately or together, along with male and female choruses.

“n3: Décima a la Décima”. 10 different singers participate in it, among them, Residente Calle 13, Kiko Veneno, Xoel López, Daniel Drexler…
Users may combine the different voices, and arrange the order in which singers come in and out.
